This week, the House of Commons will debate Motion 103, which condemns Islamophobia and instructs the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage to study discrimination against Canadian Muslims, as well as other religious and racial groups.

Because of the incoming Trump administration, some have suggested we abandon a carbon tax for Canada. I agree – in the case of Justin Trudeau’s carbon tax. His is not revenue neutral. He’s allowing the revenues to be spent on government programs. It’ll be a huge tax grab and a huge burden on consumers and companies – especially export sensitive ones. But President-elect Donald Trump makes it more important than ever to implement my plan.
